Young men in Britain are growing up in a world which appears to reject them. Many are simply dropping out. There is no way we can Revive Britain unless we can give young men hope and a dream to follow.
Ten disadvantages for Men and Boys
Men and boys are:
- behind girls at every stage of education and are more likely to be excluded from school;
- only 45% of university entrants;
- 13% aged 16 to 24 years are NEETS (Not in Education, Employment or Training);
- suicide death rates three times higher;
- life expectancy is 3.7 years lower;
- more likely to die of a cancer or Covid;
- 83% of Rough sleepers;
- 96% of prisoners.
Many abused as children / have learning difficulties; - too often growing up with little or no contact with their father;
- often portrayed in a negative light in the media.
